Look out Bead World .....

Here Comes VALORIE !!

 

 

 Valorie came for the weekend from Yardley, Pennsylvania to learn glass beadmaking. She has a background in graphic art, but has recently become interested in beads and jewelry. We had a great deal of fun, sometimes having to stop beadmaking in order to catch our breath from laughing too hard. As you can see by looking at her beads below, Valorie picked up many of the techniques very quickly !

 And finally, a picture of Valorie working in the torch - applying tiny dots of glass to a bead,
using a sage green stringer of glass - a color that she custom mixed herself !
